About Kadijah
Hailing from the charming town of Ozark, Alabama, Kadijah "Kandi" Oliver is a storyteller at heart and a passionate creator behind the lens. A graduate of the University of South Alabama, she is a self-taught photographer whose journey into photography began at an early age. Between the ages of eight and ten, Kadijah discovered her passion for capturing life’s most meaningful moments—a love inspired by cherished family traditions.
The seeds of Kandi Kam Photography were planted when she stumbled upon one of her late great-grandfather’s cameras and spent countless hours immersed in old family photo albums at her great-grandmother’s home. It was there that Kadijah realized the power of photographs: the ability to preserve fleeting moments, evoke deep emotions, and keep memories alive across generations.
In 2018, while stationed in Wichita Falls, Texas, Kadijah turned her passion into a purpose-driven business, stepping out on faith to launch Kandi Kam Photography. What began as a heartfelt hobby blossomed into a mission to provide clients with timeless memories—images that don’t just capture moments but embody the stories, emotions, and legacies of those in front of her lens.
Every image Kadijah creates is deeply rooted in her commitment to excellence, authenticity, and connection.
