Before You Purchase

Please review the following important information before completing your booking:

• An active Shopify subscription and custom domain are required. Your Shopify subscription, domain registration, premium themes, and third-party applications are purchased directly through Shopify or the applicable provider and are not included with this service. Purchasing these directly ensures you maintain full ownership and administrative control of your store.
• This service is for existing Shopify stores. If you do not currently have a Shopify store, please book our New Shopify Website Design + Build service instead.
• Your Shopify store will remain live throughout the redesign process. We'll redesign your storefront while your existing website continues operating, allowing customers to browse, shop, and place orders without interruption.
• Every Shopify redesign is fully customized. We do not use generic templates or duplicate another client's work. Your redesigned store is thoughtfully created to reflect your brand identity, improve the customer shopping experience, and support your business goals.
• Clients are responsible for providing all website content. This includes your logo, branding elements, product information, pricing, product descriptions, policies, shipping information, business information, images, contact information, and any additional content needed for your redesigned store. Branding, professional photography, graphic design, and copywriting services are available as separate add-on services.
• Third-party costs are not included. This includes Shopify subscription plans, domain registration, premium themes, paid Shopify applications, payment processing fees, shipping provider fees, email marketing platforms, automation software, and any other third-party subscriptions your business chooses to use.
• Project timelines begin only after all required materials have been received. Your project cannot enter our active design queue until your signed agreement, completed onboarding requirements, and all requested content have been submitted. Delays in providing materials will delay your estimated completion timeline.
• Additional functionality may require an additional investment. While this package includes a comprehensive Shopify redesign, advanced custom functionality, specialty integrations, custom coding, premium Shopify applications, subscription features, wholesale functionality, multilingual capabilities, or other custom requests outside the standard scope may require a separate quote.
• Your redesigned store is built to grow with your business. As your business evolves, your Shopify store can continue expanding through additional functionality, Shopify app integrations, new collections, enhanced customer experiences, and future design improvements.

Once your Shopify redesign has been completed, approved, and all financial obligations have been satisfied, you retain ownership of your Shopify store and the business content you've provided.

You'll maintain full administrative access to your Shopify account, allowing you to manage your products, collections, inventory, orders, customers, and store settings while continuing to grow your online business.

Your Shopify Account

Your Shopify account, subscription plan, domain registration, billing information, payment processor accounts, Shopify applications, and any third-party subscriptions remain under your ownership and control. Because these services are purchased directly through Shopify or their respective providers, you're responsible for maintaining active subscriptions, renewing services, and keeping your account information current.

Your Business Content

All logos, branding, product images, product descriptions, written content, pricing, collections, trademarks, business information, marketing materials, and other content you provide remain your intellectual property.

By submitting these materials, you represent that you own the rights to use them or have obtained all necessary licenses and permissions.

Our Creative Work

Your Shopify store is custom designed exclusively for your business. However, Kandi & Co. Productions retains ownership of its proprietary design processes, creative methodologies, workflows, systems, templates, documentation, and any original assets, code, or resources developed for use across our business that are not created exclusively for your brand.

These proprietary materials may not be copied, reproduced, redistributed, resold, reverse engineered, or used to create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Future Store Management

After launch, you're welcome to manage your Shopify store independently, continue partnering with Kandi & Co. Productions for ongoing maintenance, or hire another qualified professional to manage future updates.

Our goal is to provide you with the flexibility to choose the level of support that best fits your business.

Please note that if another designer, developer, or third party modifies your Shopify store after launch, Kandi & Co. Productions cannot guarantee the integrity of the original design, functionality, or customer experience. Additional troubleshooting, repair, or redesign services may be required before we can resume maintenance or support.

Portfolio Rights

Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, Kandi & Co. Productions reserves the right to showcase completed Shopify stores, website screenshots, branding elements, product pages, collections, homepage designs, and project highlights within our portfolio, website, social media platforms, marketing materials, presentations, award submissions, and other promotional materials.

Confidential business information, customer data, passwords, financial information, proprietary business information, and any non-public data will never be shared without your permission unless required by law.

Our Commitment

Before any design work begins, all clients are required to enter into a formal Client Service Agreement with Kandi & Co. Productions. What to Expect

A Signed Agreement Is Required

Your project cannot enter our active production queue until your Client Service Agreement has been signed by both you and Kandi & Co. Productions. This agreement serves as the official authorization for us to begin work and establishes the expectations and responsibilities of both parties throughout your project.

Agreement Delivery

Your agreement will be sent electronically shortly after your purchase has been completed. Please review it carefully, as it contains important information regarding your Shopify redesign, business policies, timelines, revisions, ownership, payment terms, communication expectations, and other contractual provisions.

Twenty-Four (24) Hour Signature Requirement

To prevent unnecessary delays, your signed agreement must be returned within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt. Prompt completion allows your onboarding process to begin immediately and helps secure your place within our production schedule.

Project Scheduling

Please understand that payment alone does not reserve your place within our active production queue. Your Shopify redesign is officially scheduled only after all of the following have been completed:

• Your payment has been successfully received.
• Your Client Service Agreement has been signed.
• All required onboarding information and requested materials have been submitted.
• Any additional documentation requested for your project has been received.

Only after these requirements have been satisfied will your official project timeline begin.

Failure to Sign the Agreement

If your agreement is not signed and returned within the required timeframe, your order may be subject to cancellation. Because production time has already been reserved within our schedule, all payments remain non-refundable and non-transferable in accordance with our business policies.

Should your project be canceled due to an unsigned agreement, a new booking, new agreement, and new payment will be required before services can begin.

Designed for Transparency

Our Client Service Agreement is not intended to overwhelm you. It exists to establish clear expectations, promote open communication, eliminate misunderstandings, and protect both parties throughout the redesign process. Standard Turnaround Time

The standard turnaround time for our Shopify Website Design Makeover + Build service is fifteen (15) business days.

Business days are Tuesday through Friday and exclude weekends, federal holidays, scheduled office closures, military obligations, and previously announced out-of-office dates.

When Does My Timeline Begin?

One of the most common misconceptions is that your project timeline begins immediately after payment. To ensure every Shopify redesign receives the attention it deserves, your turnaround time officially begins only after all of the following have been completed:

• Your payment has been successfully processed.
• Your Client Service Agreement has been signed.
• All requested website content has been submitted.
• All product information, collections, images, branding materials, policies, and supporting documents have been received.
• Your onboarding process has been successfully completed.

If any required materials are outstanding, your project will remain in the onboarding phase until everything has been received.

Project Scheduling

Projects are completed in the order they officially enter our production schedule. Completing your onboarding requirements promptly helps prevent unnecessary delays and allows your Shopify redesign to move into production as quickly as possible.

Please understand that delays in submitting content, approvals, revisions, product information, or requested materials may result in an adjusted completion date.

Estimated Completion Date

Once your onboarding process has been completed and your project officially enters our production schedule, you'll receive confirmation of your anticipated completion date. This information will be provided by email so you'll know what to expect throughout the redesign process.

Unforeseen Circumstances

While we're committed to meeting every projected deadline, there may be rare situations beyond our control that require adjustments to your timeline. These may include military obligations, illness, family emergencies, severe weather, technology failures, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Should an unexpected situation arise, we'll communicate with you as soon as reasonably possible and provide updated project expectations. Our priority will always be delivering a Shopify store that meets our quality standards rather than compromising the final product to meet an unrealistic deadline.

Need Your Store Sooner?

If your business requires an expedited turnaround, Rush Service may be available for an additional investment.

Rush Service is offered on a limited basis and is subject to our current production schedule. Approved rush projects receive priority scheduling; however, the expedited timeline cannot begin until all required onboarding materials have been submitted.

Because accelerated production requires adjustments to our existing workflow, Rush Service should be selected during the booking process whenever possible and cannot be guaranteed once a project has entered production.

We appreciate your patience and trust throughout the redesign process. Payment Information

Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable Payments

Due to the customized nature of our services, all payments are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.

Once your purchase has been completed, production time is reserved exclusively for your Shopify redesign. This includes project planning, onboarding, scheduling, communication, strategy, creative development, and administrative preparation dedicated specifically to your business.

Because these resources are committed immediately, refunds, payment transfers, service exchanges, account credits, or partial reimbursements cannot be provided after payment has been received.

Cancellation Policy

If you choose to cancel your Shopify redesign after booking, all payments previously made will remain non-refundable and non-transferable.

Whether your project is canceled before design begins or after production has started, payments cannot be refunded, credited toward another service, or transferred to a future project.

If Kandi & Co. Productions terminates a project due to a violation of the Client Service Agreement, failure to provide required materials, lack of communication, abusive or inappropriate behavior, breach of contract, or any other violation of our business policies, all payments previously made will be forfeited.

Should you wish to move forward with a future project after cancellation or termination, a new booking, new Client Service Agreement, and new payment will be required.

Additional Services & Change Requests

This package includes only the services specifically outlined in the service description.

Requests for additional functionality, premium Shopify applications, advanced integrations, custom coding, branding, copywriting, professional photography, graphic design, marketing materials, specialty features, or services outside the original scope of work may require an additional investment.

Any approved additions will be invoiced separately and must be paid in full before work begins.

Third-Party Expenses

Certain services required to successfully operate your Shopify store are purchased separately and are not included with this package.

These may include, but are not limited to:

• Shopify subscription plans
• Domain registration or renewal
• Premium Shopify themes
• Paid Shopify applications
• Payment processor transaction fees
• Shipping provider services

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the service description, understand the scope of work, and agree to the payment policies outlined on this page and within your Client Service Agreement.

Unauthorized chargebacks, payment reversals, or payment disputes submitted after knowingly authorizing this purchase may constitute a breach of your Client Service Agreement. Kandi & Co. Productions reserves the right to suspend or terminate all services, recover the outstanding balance, seek reimbursement of any associated fees or expenses, pursue collection efforts, and exercise any additional legal or contractual remedies available.

If additional information, clarification, or missing materials are needed, we'll contact you before your project enters our production schedule.

Please note that incomplete submissions, delayed responses, revisions to submitted content, or missing materials may affect your estimated completion timeline.

Your Project Enters Production

After your signed Client Service Agreement has been received and all required onboarding materials have been submitted, reviewed, and approved, your Shopify redesign will officially enter our production schedule.

Projects are completed in the order onboarding requirements are satisfied unless Rush Service has been purchased.

Website Review Sessions are an important part of the process and provide dedicated opportunities to review your redesigned store, provide feedback, request revisions, and collaborate with our team before final approval.

To remain focused on designing your Shopify store, we do not provide routine project status updates. If we need additional information, approvals, clarification, or action from you, we'll contact you promptly by email.

Email serves as our primary method of communication throughout your project. We ask that you regularly monitor the email address associated with your booking, as important updates, Website Review Session invitations, approvals, and action items will be delivered there.

To help maintain your estimated timeline, we also encourage you to respond promptly to requests for information, approvals, and revisions. Extended delays in communication may require adjustments to your estimated completion date.

Product Images

Your Shopify store should represent your brand at the highest level. To maintain the quality and professionalism of every store we redesign, we only accept high-resolution, professional-quality product and branding images.

Please do not submit:

• Blurry or pixelated images
• Images with excessive filters or editing
• Copyrighted images without proper authorization
• Low-resolution graphics

If submitted images do not meet our quality standards, we'll notify you so replacement images can be provided before production begins.

Store Content

Please submit all written content in a Google Drive.

To maintain efficiency and accuracy, screenshots, handwritten notes, photographs of written information, copied social media captions, and PDFs intended to replace editable text are not accepted.

To complete your redesign, we'll need access to your existing Shopify store.

During onboarding, you'll receive instructions for securely adding Kandi & Co. Productions as a collaborator to your Shopify account. Please do not share your password. Shopify's collaborator access allows us to redesign your store while helping maintain the security of your account.

File Submission Guidelines

Missing Information

Your Shopify redesign cannot enter our active production queue until all required onboarding materials have been received.

If your onboarding information is not submitted within five (5) business days, your project may be subject to cancellation in accordance with the terms outlined in your Client Service Agreement. Because production time is reserved specifically for your business, all payments remain non-refundable and non-transferable.

Communication

Communication takes place primarily by email.
